The Past Few Months

Hey guys! I am here to apologize for not posting the last few months. I recently started college (yes, I'm a freshman) and a lot has been going on! I've been super busy between working, playing sports, and doing homework. I have actually been too busy to even sit down and read a book! I haven't fully read a book that wasn't assigned since last August.

However, that's all about to change in a few days! I will be getting back into blogging over winter break and will also be reading tons! I'm so excited to get back into this because I've been missing all my fellow book nerds so much.

Besides all that, I want to hear about you guys! What have you been reading? Are there any good books that have come out in the past few months that I've missed out on?

  1. Hope you'll enjoy your winter break and read fabulous books! Recently I've read the last Grisha book and also Six of Crows. I'd forgotten how much I love the world in these books.

  2. I know how it is when you're too busy to open a book, though for very different reasons than yours ;). I've been struggling with reading and blogging for a while now. Let's hope we both are headed towards a better time. Good luck with college!

  3. I started college too this semester and I completely understand! It's been a struggle to keep up with everything that needs to be done for school, let alone have time to read books and write reviews and things for my blog. It makes me so sad that I haven't had much time for reading but I'm with you - hopefully there'll be loads of time over winter break! I hope you have an awesome break!

  6. Yay for winter break!! I couldn't even imagine how I would have blogged during the beginning of college. I was so busy with dorm-life, I don't think I would have read or blogged at all. The last awesome book I read was Heartless by Marissa Meyer... oh and The Thousandth Floor was kinda fun. And Last Seen Leaving, The Telling, and This Adventure Ends. I guess I have a lot of recs lol :)

  7. Be sure to check out As we Know It by Carrie Butler. Disaster romance done right. An earthquake is the perfect way to shake up the lives of any number of characters. Working on releasing my first book in 2017 as well as an author website. Congrats on going to college and glad you have enough time now to come hang with the blogging community again. Happy Holidays.

  8. Hope you have a good winter break - its nice opportunity to catch up on some reading :) I remember when I was at college - i hated how the required reading would monopolise my time. I could think of so many more interesting books...

  9. NOW YOU UNDERSTAND!!! :D Isn't blogging and going to uni the worst? Well, not the worst, but extremely difficult. I started blogging when I was in high school... and I'm about to graduate (from uni) in May! It's so hard to do both. But you can do it! I'm proof! Recharge as much as possible while on winter break. I did winter classes for the past three winter breaks, but that's not happening this winter break. I'm good. LOL.

    Happy holidays! =)

  10. I understand how hard it is to juggle school and extracurricular activities and blogging!!! I'm glad you're back over winter break though :D Also hope you're having fun your freshman year!

Some great books I've read recently are The Diabolic and Caraval. I'm currently reading The Bear and the Nightingale. I feel really behind on reading and new releases though... eek!

    Enjoy winter break!!!
