  1. From your list, I've only read The Book Thief and The Giver. I wish to read the rest though, they're all on my TBR and wishlist. :)

  2. I haven't read The book Thief, Code Name Verity, All the Bright Places, or Amy and Roger's Epic Detour. I read The Giver like 17 years ago so I really don't remember much about it lol. Shadow and Bone is good, but it's not like.. OMG AMAZING! Same with Red Queen. Throne of Glass is really really good though!

  3. I gave into the hype for Ember in the Ashes and it was really great. Throne of Glass and Red Queen were a bit of a disappointment for me, but a lot of people love them. I also haven’t read The Book Thief or The Giver. They seem like the types of books everyone should read at least once in their lifetime, but for some reason I don’t really gravitate towards them.

  4. Oh, my goodness! Read Shadow and Bone and Throne of Glass!! They SO deserve all the hype. I finally read The Giver last year and was like...that's it? Ok... I still need to read An Ember in the Ashes and Red Queen. Great list!

  7. Great list! I'd like to read Code Name Verity and Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, too. :) The Book Thief is fantastic, but unfortunately I wasn't a fan of The Giver or Throne of Glass.

  8. I haven't read any of these but I do hope to get to them soon. I bought my sister The Book Thief but she never read it so I plan on reading it so I can see what the hype is about it.

  9. I didn't like Throne of Glass or The Giver. I did love The Book Thief though when I read that a few years back. I just ignore hype over books-if I want to read a book, I read it, if I don't I won't, regardless of what anyone else thinks!

  10. I have read Amy & Roger's Epic Detour and really enjoyed it. I wasn't such a fan of Abundance of Katherines. I just started Red Queen and want to read All the Bright Places soon - Great list!

  11. Nice! I have Red Queen and An Ember in the Ashes in my picks too! So want to read those! Tried ToG and didn't get into it at all, sadly, but I did enjoy Shadow and Bone! The rest I've never read! Hope you get to read and enjoy some of these soon!

  12. I've read all of these except two (Code Name Verity and The Giver) and I really enjoyed most of the ones on your list so I really don't think you can go wrong with trying some of these out, hype or not!

  13. I have yet to read Shadow and Bone and Code Name Verity myself! When they were released I wasn't a huge fan of fantasy or historical fiction, so I just never got around to them. I plan to read them one day though!

  14. Glad to see someone else who hasn't read Throne of Glass! I do plan on reading it this month though so it'll be interesting to see if it lives up to the hype. I read An Ember in the Ashes recently and really enjoyed it.

  15. I DNFd Throne of Glass and Shadow and Bone. Enjoyed The Book Thief and thought The Giver was just fine. I listened to Code Name Verity on audiobook and it was marvelous. I feel in love with the narrators for the story. Soooo good.

  16. Lots of great books on here and some I didn't enjoy. I read and loved Throne of Glass, All the Bright Places and The Book Thief. I also really enjoyed Shadow and Bone, The Giver and Amy & Roger's Epic Detour. I read Red Queen and Code Name Verity and really disliked both. Hopefully you enjoy these if you ever read them :)

  18. So many lists have The Book Thief, so you are not alone on that one! All the Bright Places was amazing, and I think you would really enjoy it! Shadow and Bone and Amy and Roger (while not on my list) are definitely near the top of my TBR.

  21. Shadow and Bone and anything by John Green should be read. :)

  22. Except Code Name Verity, I've read everything on your list. You should check out An Ember in the Ashes (this was a constant book in every blog I visited today), The Book Thief & Amy and Roger's Epic Detour. I enjoyed reading those three. The other six, I have mixed emotions.

Shadow and Bone I'm thinking about reading in the future! So many people love it.

  24. The Book Thief is one of my all time favorites! Most people seem to love it. I recently read All the Bright Places and it was fantastic! So beautiful, yet so heartbreaking.

  25. SHADOW AND BONE AHHHHH *flails* Shadow and Bone is one of my all time favorite books! I had the biggest grin on my face after finishing that book. I think I would read anything Leigh Bardugo writes :D

  27. I JUST discovered All The Bright Places a few days ago when I was at, of all places, Target, and I spotted a YA book aisle and was immediately attracted to the book so it's definitely on my TBR now!! Also, The Book Thief and An Abundance of Katherines are both excellent reads, definitely read them if you get a chance!!

  29. Red Queen, Code Name Verity, Amy and Roger's Epic Detour are all on my TBR list, though at this point I might never get to them. I enjoyed The Giver but was one of the very few people who disliked All the Bright Places, I couldn't even finish it. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy all these novels! :)
