Waiting on Zodiac!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.

At the dawn of time, there were thirteen Houses in the Zodiac galaxy. Now, only twelve remain. . . .   In the Zodiac galaxy, your astrological sign determines everything about you. The stars tell the story of your life, and nothing—and nobody—is real unless you can actually touch them.   It’s a galaxy divided, where personalities clash and suspicions run high. Everyone is a potential enemy, so it’s best to stick to your kind. Hard-working realists in House Virgo scoff at sweet-talking Librans, who use stellar social skills to climb to the top. And while the brooding twins of House Gemini take forever to make a decision, optimistic Sagittarians hop from adventure to adventure without a thought.   House Cancer prizes loyalty and honesty above all else. When an unforeseen catastrophe strikes their ocean planet, the stars select sixteen-year-old Rho as their new Guardian. Rho suspects an ancient, power-hungry evil of legend has returned to exact revenge across the entire Zodiac. But Rho is an unknown novice and one of the youngest Guardians ever. Who should believe her?
And with the stars anywhere but in her favor, how can Rho defeat an enemy she can’t touch?

An Apology

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry that I haven't posted anything on my blog in a while, I've been really busy with school and playing sports because I play field hockey in the fall, though the sports season has ended so I'm back and ready to blog about the books I've read!

I haven't been reading much lately because I've been really into binge-watching Netflix shows like Doctor Who and Greek and Supernatural and all those other good shows that are so addicting. I have read a few books because they seemed interesting to me at the time so I picked them up and flew right through them only to find that afterwords another week had gone by and I hadn't read anything.

I'm hoping to get back into the rhythm of things so I can get back to posting as much as I used to!
Thank you to all of my followers! :)

Waiting on For Real!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.

No parents. No limits. No clue what they're in for.
Shy, cautious Claire has always been in her confident older sister's shadow. While Miranda's life is jam-packed with exciting people and whirlwind adventures, Claire gets her thrills vicariously by watching people live large on reality TV.
When Miranda discovers her boyfriend, Samir, cheating on her just before her college graduation, it's Claire who comes up with the perfect plan. They'll outshine Miranda's fame-obsessed ex while having an amazing summer by competing on Around the World, a race around the globe for a million bucks. Revenge + sisterly bonding = awesome.
But the show has a twist, and Claire is stunned to find herself in the middle of a reality-show romance that may or may not be just for the cameras. This summer could end up being the highlight of her life... or an epic fail forever captured on film. In a world where drama is currency and manipulation is standard, how can you tell what's for real?

Released December 9 by Delacorte Press!
